1. Fabric
Commonly used T-shirt fabrics are 100% cotton, 95% cotton + 5% spandex, 100% polyester and other cotton-based fabrics. Other fabrics such as polyester + nylon + spandex, nylon + spandex, cotton + polyester + spandex and other non-cotton-based fabrics. If you don’t want to use the fabrics from the market, then you need to customize the fabrics directly. 2. Weight
T-shirt fabric’s weight range from 140gms to 340gms, it directly affects the thickness of finished T-shirt. Different fabric have it’s fixed weight on the market. Like 100% cotton fabrics, there are a large number of 140gms to 340gms ready-made fabrics on the market.
The weight heavier, the finished product is generally straighter, and it will look better when wearing. Conversely, the overall feel of the type is more casual and comfortable, very suitable for leisure wear.
Take the temperature of your local or region into consideration and then select the best weight of the fabric for customized T-shirt. For example, like the countries of Northern Europe, can choose about 220g to 280g fabrics to make T-shirts. Tropical areas such as the Middle East and Southeast Asia can choose fabrics ranging from 140gms to 180gms. After all, the temperature in the tropics is above 30 degrees all the year round, it is not suitable for T-shirts made of fabrics with heavy weight, which does not match the actual needs of the whole urban area.

Fabric is more common, the price is generally more affordable; at the same time, polyester fiber-based fabrics are generally cheaper than cotton-based fabrics. So T-shirts made of polyester fibers are very suitable for promotional activities or as gifts to customers.
However, if the weight per gram is not taken into account, the thin fabric is cheaper than the thick one. So most customers will choose 170-180g fabrics to customized T-shirts.
